Comfort Zone Camp holds free weekend camps for kids 7-17 who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling or primary caregiver, regardless of when the death occurred.

Each child is paired one-to-one with an adult Big Buddy volunteer. The Big Buddy Volunteer, role includes:

-Ability to donate a weekend of your time

-Play, talk, listen

-Participate in all aspects of camp including the silly!

Other volunteer roles are available (Nurses, Grief Therapists, etc.).

All volunteers must complete our 6-hour training and pass a background check before camp.
