Concord School is committed to the following goals:
• Provide high-quality curriculum and instruction in a supportive and effective
learning environment that enables the participating children to meet the Illinois State Standards. Our School Improvement Plan outlines the framework to accomplish this goal.
• Ensure that parent-teacher conferences are scheduled to discuss student progress/achievement. All parents are given the opportunity to meet with staff in November or at any time during the school year.
• Provide parents with quarterly reports on student progress. With the exception of First Step and kindergarten, progress reports are provided in November, January,March, and June. In FS and kindergarten reports
are on a trimester cycle.
• Provide parents with ready access to staff via email, conferences, direct voice mail, and in school visitations.
• Provide parents with opportunities to volunteer and participate in learning
experiences with their child/children.Volunteers are readily welcomed simply by completing a volunteer form and requesting a time with the classroom teacher.
