In 1999, a small group of about ten families were looking for a church home. After much prayer, the vision of starting a new church emerged. In a huge leap of faith, Cornerstone Community Church was born.

God's hand was felt leading them, providing the people and resources to meet the spiritual and physical needs of their community.

A year later, as the congregation grew, the need for a building became readily apparent, and once again God provided. Just prior to laying the carpet, members of the congregation each wrote their favorite bible verse on the floor so that we could be standing on the very words of God.

We are a community of people who have been brought together by the love of Jesus and made into a spiritual family. We are called to invite EVERYONE to join the family and mission of God created by Jesus to know, reflect, serve and point others to him. We are not the first Christians, nor are we the only Christians. We want to simply be known for following Christ.

As Ephesians 2:19-20 says "Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief Cornerstone."

There are a lot of things that people have been divided over, but our desire is to be known by what unites us. The essentials of our faith are what we stand on. In secondary issues, we will practice love. We are a non-denominational church which means we are led by local elders and it's staff.
