Though no one has ever divided Americans this way, there are really only two kinds of people: Those who have their Sunday clothes pressed and ready the night before, and those who iron at the last minute.

However, not included in this tongue-in-cheek statistic is the group, which doesn’t do either-- because they simply don’t go to church. Some people just don’t feel comfortable coming in “Sunday dress” to church. However, a unique style of worship is bringing folks to church who otherwise might never come. And they can come in their overalls.

“Come as you are” is the dress code lived out at the Cowboy Church of Ellis County. Dress code is a non-issue because the real issue is bringing people to a place where they can meet God in worship, Bible study, and discipleship
