Pack 9 is chartered by the Van Dyke United Methodist Church in Lutz, Florida.We currently have 95 boys from 1st grade to 5th grade. They are split into 15 dens, and each den is headed by an adult volunteer.

During a typical Cub Scout year, boys will do activities with both their den and their pack. At the den level most activities are geared towards rank advancement. At the pack level, most activities are bigger, like campouts, rain-gutter regatta, pinewood derby, etc.
