About Us:
Curry Farms is a fourth generation property beginning with Bentley's great grandfather, John Robinson, in the mid 1800's.
We planted our first 1000 Virginia Pine Christmas trees in February of 1981 and sold the first trees in the winter of 1983. It generally requires three to five years to grow a harvestable tree.
Our three children helped with planting, pruning and selling until they all completed college and started their own families. Our children, their spouses and our grandchildren usually spend Thanksgiving weekend at the farm to visit with friends and allow their children to experience the farm. We now grow Leyland Cypress and Carolina Sapphires. In 2007 we added precut premium grade North Carolina grown Fraser Fir trees. When the firs arrive they are immediately processed and placed in water in an effort to guarantee freshness throughout the season.
Our farm is now more than just Christmas trees, although they are still the anchor of the operation. We currently have a Giant Swing, Roller Slide, Tractor Tire Swing, Wheelchair Accessible Trailer, corn maze, pumpkin patch, hay stack, hay slides, climbing trees, tree swings, duck races, pedal carts, hop-along horses, chicken tractor, swingy thingy and our bounce pillow. We will also let you feed our goats. A picnic area is open, please bring your own food. Fire pits are available.
