Historically

Davis Street Baptist Church was established in February of 1926 by a small group men and women with a vision to reach the lost with the gospel of Christ. Davis Street has stood the test of time, and has been a lighthouse in Sulphur Springs for almost a century.  Traditions and styles have changed over the years, but Davis Street has always stayed true to unchanging Word of God.

Biblically

We are a strong body of Christian Believers whose foundation is the Holy Scriptures.  We believe God’s Word is without error, and applicable to today’s culture.

Practically

Our desire is to keep church simple.  Church doesn’t have to be complicated.  We want to create an atmosphere where you can learn about God, grow with others, and impact the community.
