History
In 2004, renovation began to update our school to what is now Deport Elementary. A new High School was built in Pattonville. The Junior High from Deport and Blossom campuses were moved into the renovated High School building. During renovation, the 2 story building, maintenance shop, nurse's office, and Speech Therapy room were removed. In their place, a technologically advanced school was built. It has the Principal, Secretary, and Nurse offices, Library, Patriot Lab, Teacher's Workroom, and 6 classrooms. A new awning with columns was erected to connect the new building with the other buildings.
In 2006, the East Building (A.K.A. the old High School), was freshly painted, the floor was lifted, the gym ceiling was retiled and painted and new windows were also installed. The cafeteria was updated with new floor tile. Technology is in the advancement stages with a new computer lab expected soon.
Deport Elementary has grades Pre-K through 5th.
