DeWitt Community Church is an independent self-governing congregation of Christians who have come together from many different religious backgrounds and walks of life. The mission of the church shall be to involve as many people as possible in its worship and ministry. The goal of the church is a fellowship as comprehensive as the spirit and teachings of Christ and as inclusive as the love of God.

Our congregation of about 1800 members is growing and diverse. Our membership includes persons from over 30 different church backgrounds who drive from all over the Greater Syracuse area. We like to think we are "20 minutes from everywhere."

Belive statement:
We believe in God, the Creator of the world, who has come in Jesus, the Word made flesh, to reconcile and make new, who works in us and others by the Spirit.

We are called as a Church, to celebrate God's presence, to live with respect in Creation, to love and serve others, to seek justice and resist evil, to proclaim the way of Jesus, crucified and risen, our healer and our hope.

We believe that in life, in death, in life beyond death, God is with us.
