D'Ippolito first opened as an elementary school in 1968 and was converted to an intermediate school in 1981.Located at 1578 North Valley Avenue, our school houses grades five through eight. Approximately sixty five professional staff members and fine support personnel work with our multi-ethnic, multi-cultural student population. We embrace the district's mission statement based upon the conviction that all students can learn.

Students are recognized for academic achievement and citizenship through our School Leadership Team. Other SLC sponsored activities are also available and many are specifically planned for parent and community involvement such as achievement fairs, family events, and fine arts presentations. Extra-curricular activities are offered including: newspaper, yearbook, band, mock trials, student council, stock market, National Junior Honor Society, chorus, drama, Cognetics, Safety Patrol, Olympics of the Mind, and various sport activities. In addition, we offer a number of after school clubs including Art, Assured Success Club, Chess, Environment, Hospitality, In-line Skating, SADD, Speech Outreach, Kids Care and Sign Language.
