Increase the knowledge of gardening and horticulture among our members.
Apply this knowledge to our own gardens and to community projects that can be enjoyed by all South Windsor residents.
Promote conservation and environmental awareness at home and within the community.

About Us:

The Down to Earth Garden Club was founded in September 1973 and two of the original founding members are still active with the club.  Club members include both men and women, with ages ranging from the 20's to the 80's.  Gadening expertise among members ranges from beginner to life-long gardener and from flower gardening to vegetable growing.  There are a number of Certified Master Gardeners and Advanced Master Gardeners in our club who willingly share their knowledge in helping us solve problems in our own gardens.
