What?
Downtown Milford Inc. is a non-profit organization (as defined by Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986) to promote quality development of the traditional central business district of Milford, Delaware. In 2008, DMI was recognized as Delaware's eight Main Street program and received national Main Street accreditation in 2009 by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Where?
The Downtown Milford District is currently defined as the area roughly bound by North Front Street on the north, Church Street on the west, Causey Avenue/SE Front Street on the South and Denny Row/Washington Street on the East. This area is shown on the DMI map.
Who?
Members of DMI are merchants and residents of the downtown area and anyone else who would like to contribute to the improvement of this vital part of Milford. DMI's board of directors and committees are responsible for planning and implementing various projects.
