We believe that all families should be recognized as families by the law, and everyone should have the fundamental right to marry the person that they love. We opposed the Minnesota Anti-Marriage Amendment, which would have defined marriage in our state constitution as between one man and one woman. This amendment was on the Minnesota ballot for public vote in November 2012, and we are proud to say this amendment was defeated.

We at Duluth United recognize there is still work to be done to allow ALL Minnesotans to have the fundamental right to marry the person they love. It is our mission to make this a reality in Minnesota.
