Home to 660 fourth and fifth grade students, East Woods believes that each child is unique and the school community is enriched by individual differences. Opportunities abound for students as they accept more responsibility for themselves and others. One of the top leaders in the nation for the American Heart Association's Hoops for Hearts program, students learn to become better citizens. In addition to their regular studies, hands-on science and math curriculum in polymers, are just one example of the many experiences in the classroom at East Woods. Students are also proud of their recycle programs and, yes, unicycle program.
Fourth and fifth grade students begin additional music studies through exposure to both band and orchestra. Choir opportunities abound through auditions into the East Woods Singers. Academics, technology, music, art and lifelong fitness programs, such as swimming, challenge students to meet their full potential.
