The Elkridge Heritage Society's headquarters is located at the Brumbaugh House (circa 1870) on Main Street. Step inside and visit days gone by. The industry of Elkridge, its churches, shops, taverns, Assembly Hall, and private homes such as Belmont, Rockburn, The Lawn, Morning Choice, Clearview, Hursley Manor, Maycroft, Armagh, and Wayside can be visited once again through books, articles and memorabilia. More recent town history is reflected in a sports collection and a medical vignette of Dr. Brumbaugh's office.

As the caretaker of the Historical Archives of Elkridge, we wish to preserve the varied experiences that reflect our heritage, and in so doing, record the diversity and change that this region has experienced.
