Founded in 2003 and serving youth and young adults who live with disabilities and/or special needs, Ethel's Tree of Life (ETL) offers activities and opportunities for students to build on life and work skills, connect with community and peers, and gain empowerment through self esteem and self control. 2007 is our Year of Capacity Building. ETL serves Seacoast New Hampshire and Southern York County, ME. Volunteers are needed for the following activities (all volunteer positions involving youth and young adults require a back ground check and fingerprinting):
Mentors
Chaperones
Crafters to hold craft sessions.
Artists to teach all mediums
Office assistants
House keepers
Grounds Keepers
Carpenters for book shelves, cupboards, etc.
Handyman/woman
Volunteer Coordinator
Circle of Caring Coordinators
Fundraising Committee Volunteers
