About the Church:

Family Worship Assembly is a church affiliated with the Assemblies of God Fellowship (denomination). Two terms that describe the A/G are "Evangelical" and "Pentecostal". Evangelical means that our preaching and teaching emphasis is found in the Bible, that the "Good News of Jesus Christ" is God's message of salvation for all people. This includes a number of biblical themes such as: God's law of righteousness, his reconciliation of man to himself, regeneration by God's power, knowing God's will for our lives, being dedicated to Christ through dying to self, and his imminent return to take the church up to heaven. It also includes certain practices such as: Worship, Evangelism, Fellowship, Discipleship and Equipping for service, to name some. The term Pentecostal is a reference from the Book of Acts, chapter 2. This is the account of the Holy Spirit being poured out for the first time. As Pentecostals, we emphasize the person and ministry of the Holy Spirit as the primary agent of establishing the Kingdom of God in ministry to the world. Family Worship Assembly (FWA) has been in Black River Falls for many years and has been at its present location for over 25 years.

Since the fall of 1998, the church facility has undergone extensive remodeling of the entire main floor: Sanctuary, offices, nursery, restroom and foyer. We have also added a Baby Grand Piano, Video Projector and have updated our Sound Equipment.
