Our Purpose Statement

Fellowship of the Rockies exists to reach the secular man for Christ and then to develop him into a mature follower of Jesus Christ.

Our purpose is based on two key scriptures:

Scripture 1:

The Great Commandment:“Jesus replied:‘Love the Lord you God with all you heart... soul... mind.’This is the first and greatest commandment.And the second is like it:‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’All the law and Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

To “Love God with all your heart” is “WORSHIP.”
To “Love your neighbor as yourself” is “MINISTRY.”

Scripture 2:

The Great Commission:“Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”

To “Go.. make disciples” is “EVANGELISM”
To “Teach them.. all things is “DISCIPLESHIP”
