First Baptist Church, Searcy is a body of believers united in Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit. Our mission is to glorify God the Father by abiding in Christ and
Obeying His commandments (John 15:4-10)
Witnessing to unbelievers (Act 1:8)
Nuturing believers (Matthew 28:20)
Ministering to all people (Matthew 25:35-36)
VISION
1. That we might become a contagious congregation with a heart for reaching ever-increasing numbers of irreligious people in our community with the gospel message.
2. That we might be a spiritually growing congregation with an increasingly firmer grip on the life-changing power of prayer, worship, and the truths of God's Word.
3. That we might be a ministering congregation putting our faith in action to serve the needs of others in our community, state, and around the world.
