First Pres has a long rich history, dating back to 1889, and as such, it is the second oldest church in Bakersfield. First Pres is a Bible-based church focused on helping you find God's answers to the challenges you face in your daily life. We believe that we have made it this far, greatly because God has blessed our church family with deep, lasting relationships that have been built and nurtured throughout the years.
