Founded August 17th 1996 by Pastor Marilyn S. Belcher. Church offers home Bible Studies, Weekly Word of Truth Radio Broadcast, and Special Youth Services. "Love in Action" is motto of the church. Acts 2:38 is fundamental doctrine. The Centreville United Pentecostal Church is an affiliated Home Mission Church.
On March 22nd 1999 the Church purchased 114 Crumpton Ave. On April 1st 1999 the doors opened for the first time. The first official services in the new Church were held on April 4th 1999, Easter Sunday.
August 15th 1999 the dedication of the new First United Pentecostal Church of Centreville Building and Fellowship Hall was held. The event was lead by: Rev. Marilyn S. Belcher, the Churches founding Pastor; Rev. Bobbie Jo Finnen, Pastor of Apostolic United Pentecostal Church of West Blocton; Rev. Philip Egan, Presbyter and Pastor of First United Pentecostal Church of Tuscaloosa; and Rev. Michael Matoes, evangelist from the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Beebe, Arkansas; who lead revival preceding the dedication service.
