Our mission:

Our desire is to make mission outreach even more effective through hands-on engagement and to that end our young people have visited nursing homes, participated in supportive walks for hunger, and we hope to find other ways to share the love of Christ actively and meaningfully with those near by and in need.

Inspired by Jesus' words, "Go into the world" the theme of missions at First-Calvary in 2009 is: Reaching Out to Our Neighbors. This will mean a renewed emphasis on hands-on fellowship with people and groups in the Greater Lawrence area.
