Fore-Kin Trails Genealogical Society was organized in March 1981 and incorporated January 1982.  Our purpose is to promote interest in genealogical research, to share knowledge and resources, to locate and preserve records, and to assist in the expansion of genealogical materials in the Montrose, Colorado area.  Our society is a member of the Colorado Council of Genealogical Societies.
