Our History

Fountain of Life was formed by the coming together of 18 individuals in 1966. At first, the congregation met at Fairway Recreation Center. In 1972 the first sanctuary was erected. The present main facility was dedicated in 1979. In August of 1987 the Visser-Rowland Company of Houston, Texas installed our pipe organ. We have been able to glorify God through music by many wonderful organists and guest recitalists through the years.

The Heidel Tower was added in 1990, and the office area was expanded in 1991. In November of 1996, Fountain of Life celebrated it's 30th anniversary as a congregation.

The beautiful chapel, new offices and enlarged fellowship hall were built and dedicated in 1999. We have had eight dedicated pastors serve the Lord at Fountain of Life and our congregation has grown from those first 18 souls to over 700 in recent years.

What We Believe

As Lutheran Christians, we build our beliefs on Jesus Christ. we believe Jesus Christ is the only, perfect, son of God.

-We believe that Jesus died for us and for every person in the world.

-We also believe that Jesus rose from the dead and lives for us - and for all people who believe in Him as their Savior.

We are saved by His Grace & Faith alone. Lutherans hold beliefs that are shared by many Christians:

     -God is three persons in one:
     -The Father who created and sustains the world;
     -The Son, who lived as a human being, died, and rose from the dead;
     -And the Holy Spirit who works God's will in the world.

-We also know that our forgiveness has been won and paid for by Jesus Christ and when we repent and seek forgiveness, God will forgive us because of His Son, Jesus Christ.
