On January 1, 1992 , the Club was founded by its Charter President Benni Fernandez. It was then called Chicago Manila Lions Club. In 2001, the Franklin Park became available as a community for a Lion's Club to serve and the opportunity was given to Chicago Manila Lion's Club. The Chicago Manila was very proud to accept the opportunity. The Club was then renamed Franklin Park Manila Lions Club and has been serving the community of Franklin Park since 2001.
