About Us

God Provides Ministry Food Bank is a non-profit, Christian faith-based organization that serves the needs of the individual and family.  We work in collaboration with major charitable food distribution agencies, including The Children's Hunger Fund, Children's Network International, and The Christian Food Center, The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, The Dream Center, Brother Helpers and many others.  God Provides Ministry also receives food donations from national food chains and major produce distribution centers. Were Located a few minutes east of downtown Los Angeles in South El Monte, we are the primary charitable distribution agency for the Commonwealth of San Gabriel Valley. 

God Provides Food Bank is the Native American Food Bank of California and we offer assistance to the entire San Gabriel Valley since 1996.  Our food bank distributes over 100 pounds of food in each food pack which is enough food to feed a family of four for one week. Our Family Pack Program is a hand up and not a hand down service created by our organization to make food available to all families.

Our Food Pack Program receives referrals from many government offices and churches throughout Los Angeles County.   It has us taken 15 years to build the donation resources that are needed to support the growing number of organizations, homeless individuals and families.

We proudly support our local government agencies; homeless Outreaches in coordination with LA County Sheriff's Department and County Health Department. We’re a great non-profit organization that promotes people helping people in the San Gabriel Valley. 

God Provides Organization is highly promoted by 211- Call for Help Hotline. Some of our achievements are: piloted Albertsons Fresh Rescue Program that went nationwide, the first Native American Food Bank for California, and featured on film Dive (Divethefilm.com) winner of over twenty FILM FESTIVAL AWARDS.
