The Lambertville Area Chamber of Commerce is a business organization dedicated for more than 30 years to a healthy economy in the City of Lambertville and the surrounding area.
The Chamber of Commerce recognizes its connection to the citizens of Lambertville with activities and events throughout the year, including:
organizing a holiday tree-lighting, complete with presents and refreshments for children, and musical entertainment
providing a venue, through the annual Shad Festival, for local nonprofit organizations to conduct their fundraising
awarding, with the help of local artists, art scholarships to area high school seniors pursuing a collegiate career in the arts. Since its inception, the Shad Festival Scholarship has awarded over $200,000 to scholarship recipients.
arranging with the City for residents and visitors to enjoy free parking during the holiday season. The Chamber also has purchased all new holiday street lighting.
The Chamber also sponsors Lambertville's annual Shad Festival, a three-time recipient of the Governor's Conference on Tourism award for Best Event. The festival, which started in 1980, highlights the region's artists, crafters, restaurants, and entertainers.
