Green Valley Academy is a public, alternative middle school located in Temple Hills, MD. We opened our doors in February 2005 to fulfill the need for alternative education for middle school-aged children in Prince George's County.

We provide smaller class sizes and a diverse staff to assist students with their academic goals. Students are evaluated not only based upon their grades, but also their behavior and appearance using our Student Point System. Students gain points by drafting a solid daily goal and behaving appropriately throughout the course of the day. When a specified number of points have been accumulated by the student, he/she is rewarded.

Behavioral points are based on respect, responsibility, attentiveness, and positive interaction and feedback in the entire school. Green Valley enforces a uniform policy that must be adhered to at all times.
