About Us
The purpose of this web site is to provide (1) a medium for describing the mission of Rotary International and the Guilford Rotary Club, the contributions Guilford Rotary makes to the community and how the community can help, (2) information for potential members to help them decide whether membership is right for them and (3) better, faster communications between members.
Rotary is an organization of business and professional persons united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. The motto of Rotary is: "Service Above Self"
The members of the Guilford Rotary Club - one of more than 29,000 in 163 countries - extend to you a cordial welcome to look at Rotary and determine if you might be ready for the challenge Rotary presents.
