The Hanson Park Conservancy is a non profit corporation begun in 2004 by a group of Cranford Citizens to support efforts to upgrade and maintain Hanson Park and also to provide guidance and financial support to the preservation of the Cranford Canoe Club building.

The mission of the Conservancy is to provide monies through private fundraising efforts to implement the Phase II plan for Hanson Park and to complete the restoration of the Cranford Canoe Club. The Conservancy plans to continue beyond the implementation phase to provide guidance and support for ongoing maintenance of the park. We hope to partner with schools, local community groups and other entities to provide programs centered on environmental and cultural topics as they relate to the site.
