Mission:

The Hartley Public Library was established for the purpose of providing the residents of Hartley and the surrounding area with access to books and other resources and services for educational, informational and recreational needs and interests to all segments of the community. The Board recognizes that the library must furnish background and current books as well as other materials to supply these needs. The library strives to aid and encourage the young in their pursuit of knowledge and in finding rewarding experiences through books.
