What is the PTO? The PTO is a Parent/Teacher Organization that works together to better our student’s educational experience through hands on support in our schools.
What is the Focus of the PTO in the School?
To encourage growth in our children in the following areas:
-Self esteem
-Organizational and study skills
-Academic enrichment
-Positive peer interaction
What is the Focus of the PTO for 2006-2007?
1. To sponsor family oriented activities and/or programs that support and enhance volunteer involvement in the schools.
2. To attract new members to the PTO, keeping it energized and open to new ideas.
3. To raise funds for our elementary school in the most productive and unobtrusive way possible to support all of our activities.
Is the PTO for Parents Only?
NO!
Any parent, grandparent, student, staff member, or community member can join. The PTO is YOURS! Your time and enthusiasm is welcome and needed! Whether you volunteer, attend meetings or join to show your support our PTO needs YOU! OUR FOCUS FOR THE FUTURE IS OUR KIDS, join us and watch the amazing things we can do when we work together.
How Do I Join?
Simply fill out a membership form and turn it in along with your membership dues. The cost is only $5 per person or 2 memberships for $9. Now that we no longer have a national affiliation it is our goal to use all membership dues to operate our PTO. This means all profit from fundraising will go to our students and our school! Our challenge to you is to match the 100% teacher support with 100% family support. Your $5 membership fee will enable us to accomplish our goals this year and for years to come.
