Shares are designed to supply a family of 4 a wide variety of produce each week. Produce will evolve and change as the season progresses, beginning with salad greens and sugar snap peas, through new potatoes, passing tomatoes (expect at least one week with a quantity of tomatoes suitable for canning!), peppers, and melons, and ending with more greens and winter root veggies like rutabagas and parsnips, as well as a halloween pumpkin or two per share. If the bees have a better year than last, a quart of honey should also be included.
Founded in 2010, we are a diversified, Certified Naturally Grown, family- and community-oriented small farm located near Culver, Indiana. We are focused on supporting and enhancing the local food movement, and providing safe, nutritious, and delicious fruits, vegetables, and animal products to our neighbors, in the most ecologically sustainable manner possible. We also have a secondary focus on the production of specialty fiber and fiber products, such as hand-made paper and alpaca fiber.
