About us:
Hollywood Library has been serving its Northeast Portland community since 1917, although not always called by the same name nor located in the same spot. In 2002, Hollywood found a new home in a mixed-use, four-story building the result of an innovative joint venture between public and private sectors.
Hollywood boasts a large collection of books as well as audio and visual materials, periodicals and electronic resources in English and Spanish that can be accessed on site or from a home computer. This library also houses a collection of materials in Vietnamese. Hollywood customers have access to Multnomah County Library's systemwide catalog of two million books and other library materials.
A spacious children's area includes a stone wall map of Beverly Cleary landmarks in the neighborhood.
