Our mission is to reach out and help spread the gospel, in the United States as well as International.Our focus has been on partnering with our sister parish, the Cathedral, in the Diocese of Juticalpa, Honduras. Holy Redeemer funded the construction and dedicated a chapel in Tempiscapa in June of 2003 We have supported vocational schools with tools, sewing machines, supplies and funding to further educate students. We are currently in the construction phase of a retreat center in Valle Alegre designed to provide meeting, sleeping and eating facilities for 75 people who will be trained to spread the Gospel. Holy Redeemer parishioners have made trips to visit Honduras in 2002 and 2003. We look forward to another cultural sharing excursion later in 2004.

We pray for our brothers and sisters in Honduras. The tambourine from Honduras is representational of their participation is our Sunday Mass.
