If you are a committed dancer who wishes to develop your art form while engaging in the academic study of dance, the Hope College Dance Department is for you. Hope College is one of the few liberal arts colleges in the Midwest fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Dance. Students can pursue a dance major or a dual major while at Hope, thereby combining their interest in dance with related academic pursuits and career possibilities. Either way, as a student in the Dance Department, you will engage in the performance and academic study of dance with those who have a dedicated passion for the art form, based on the belief that dance can develop spiritual and personal growth.
