HRH Mission Statement:

Houlton Regional Hospital's purpose is to provide safe, compassionate, quality, cost effective care to the communities we serve.  Our resources will be dedicated towards improving the health status of those we serve through education, treatment and rehabilitation.

The hospital is licensed for 25 acute beds.   Services are typical of those of an acute hospital and include a 24 hour physician covered emergency room, comprehensive medical / surgical services and multitude of out-patient services including occupational and physical therapy, speech therapy, respiratory therapy, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation.  Full time physician services include internal medicine, gynecology, obstetrics, family practice, hospitalists,  urology, general surgery, pediatrics, orthopedic surgery and radiology.  We are able to offer the following services in Houlton through our Outpatient Specialty Clinics: neurology, endocrinology (adult & pediatric), oncology, ear/nose/throat, allergy testing, rheumatology, pain management, physiatry and a pacemaker clinic.

The Center for Community Health Education is available to all communities serviced by Houlton Regional Hospital, thereby availing these communities the opportunity for a variety of health education programs, lectures, support groups and health expo.
