About Us:

Hurley and Dancers is a professional, modern dance company based in Des Moines, Iowa that presents public performances, workshops and arts-in-education residencies. The company's dancers are accomplished teachers and choreographers who bring a wealth of experience to their work. With inception in 2001, Hurley and Dancers enjoyed its international debut with performances in the Thunder Bay Fringe Festival in Ontario, Canada in 2003 an 2004 and performed in the 2004 and 2005 Minnesota Fringe Festival. The company encourages collaborations with choreographers, musicians, visual artists and others for a vibrant cultural exchange. The group is managed by Artistic Director Kathleen Hurley.
