Hyde Park Arts Initiative
About Us:
Established in 2004 as a unique partnership of local artists, non-profits, and businesses the Hyde Park Arts Initiative (HPAI) is transforming Cleary/ Logan Square into an arts and culture destination and attracting new businesses that better serve the needs of all of Hyde Park's residents. Funded by grants from The Boston Foundation, Massachusetts Cultural Council, and Boston After School and Beyond as well as donations from the arts and business community, HPAI supports the YMCA and ShOut! after school arts programs and the annual Hyde Park Open Studios.
HPAI also sponsors the Arts/Business Kick-Off in May which brings artists and businesses together, and the Artscene Festival in July, an outdoor cultural event featuring local artists and musicians. Plans are underway to produce regular music events at local restaurants and monthly arts events at area businesses in the spring and summer months.
