Kendrick Middle School is housed in Jonesboro, GA, a city in Clayton County.  A suburban community just minutes south of downtown Atlanta, Clayton County has a relaxed and neighborly feel like a small town, but with all the amenities of a major metropolitan area. Kendrick Middle School opened in 1996 and is located in the northwestern section of Clayton County.  The facility is located on 38 acres of land in a residential community.  Although the building is fifteen years old, the design was a model state of the art middle school to be used for future Clayton County schools.
