HISTORY
Kent Branch Access Center is the result of a 2.2 million dollar broadband federal stimulus grant received in 2010 by the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library. The grant allowed the building to increase from 30 computers to now offering 129 staff and public use computers, which benefits patrons interested in learning new job skills and computer literacy to adding training for small business owners and business start ups. The Library partnered with 56 major community partners for the grant which contributed endorsements, knowledge and/or funding.
