Our History:

Our Founders were a people with a vision.  They had traveled outside of the area for several years to attend Church. After several began discussing their vision of a Church in the Moors Resort Area, they began meeting in the Moors Resort Restaurant with the help of Brother Joe Gardner and local business man Ralph Moore.  On July 2, 1985, Kentucky Lake Mission was formed.

The Founders and those who joined them were from several denominational backgrounds.  They wanted a place where all Christians could come and worship together regardless of their Christian backgrounds.  Therefore, they decided to be a non-denominational Church.  Mr. Ralph Moore donated the land and several of the local residents worked with him in building the original building.  Because of the faith and the guidance of the Holy Spirit on our Founders, we have grown and served our Lord here for over 30 years.
