Lahey Clinic Medical Center, North Shore, in Peabody, Mass., is a full-service hospital featuring a 24-hour Emergency Medicine Department and an Ambulatory Surgery Center. As a research center, Lahey Clinic offers patients access to clinical trials of new therapies for diseases such as diabetes, prostate cancer and heart disease.In 2007, Lahey Clinic broke ground on a 65,000 square foot addition, which will add space for new services, including a Spine Center, Pain Center and Sleep Disorders Center, along with expanded space for other specialty care centers, the Emergency Department and primary care.
