The mission of the Lake Dillon Foundation for the Performing Arts and the Lake Dillon Theatre Company is to provide the highest quality performing arts entertainment and education to visitors and residents of Summit County.
The mission for the LDFPA is to provide high quality entertainment at little to no cost to residents and visitors to Summit County. We do this through many avenues. The THE LAKE DILLON THEATRE COMPANY provides a quality theatrical experience by presenting comedies, musicals, dramas, and evocative theatre. The SUNSET AT THE SUMMIT concert series provides 10 free concerts on Saturday nights during the summer. These concerts take place at the beautiful Lake Dillon Amphitheatre in Dillon. MUSIC FROM THE SUMMIT is a free chamber music concert series providing two concerts in August. The hugely successful YOUNG PEOPLE'S THEATRE WORKSHOP which is a month long theatre camp for aspiring young actors, the ADULT THEATREICAL WORKSHOPS, and the THEATREICAL OUTREACH program which provides a theatre experience to elementary children who otherwise might not get the opportunity.
