The mission of Lakeview Technology Academy, performance-based high school of choice with collaborative partners, is to empower students to succeed by providing in-depth technical educational experiences, preparing students to be competitive in a changing marketplace.
About LakeView Technology Academy:
LakeView Technology Academy is a specialty high school preparing students to enter the field of engineering or higher level technology. LakeView opened in the fall of 1997 with 110 students and has grown to an enrollment of 350 students. LakeView has a unique partnership with the Kenosha Area Business Alliance (KABA), WISPARK Corporation, Gateway Technical College , Marquette University College of Engineering, and the Kenosha Unified School District . Students can attend LakeView on a full time or part time basis. LakeView students earn the equivalent of one year of technical college credits and/or one semester of college of engineering credits upon graduation. These transcript credits are paid for by the Kenosha Unified School District . LakeView Technology Academy has the highest Wisconsin Knowledge and Concepts Exam (WKCE) scores of any public high school in the Kenosha , Racine , and Walworth counties. LakeView is for the serious student who desires to enter the various filds of engineering and/or advance technology in automated manufacturing systems, information technology systems, or aviation technology systems.
