EAMC-Lanier is a 115-bed acute care hospital with a 103-bed nursing home, located in Valley, Alabama. Opening in 1950 as the George H. Lanier Memorial Hospital, it was the first U.S. hospital to be built under the Hill-Burton Hospital Survey and Construction Act. EAMC-Lanier is fully accredited by The Joint Commission.

EAMC-Lanier offers a variety of services, including a Women’s Center, a Nasal & Sinus Institute, a nursing home, a 24-hour emergency room, imaging services, in-patient and out-patient rehabilitation services, an urgent care clinic and others.
