Lar-Lyn Farms LLC began in 1989, a dream of Larry and Lynn Nead. We raise home grown produce. We also grow hay and raise registered Haflinger horses and cattle. Our farm is located in Buckingham County Virginia, in a small farming town called Dillwyn.

We grow our produce using sustainable farming practices. We return nutrients to the soil naturally and use the most natural pest management practices available. We work hard to grow in partnership with Mother Nature to produce the very best tasting farm foods for your family.

In 2011, we are proud to offer our new Customer Sensitive Agriculture farmscription. In our farmscription program, you have the opportunity to pre-purchase a share of the harvest before the growing season begins.

Let's face it everybody wants to join in on the local food bandwagon, buy local, and help out their communities and local farmers, but it is not as easy for busy lifestyles to get into "local foods."

The idea of Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is very attractive to many people. The problem is the inflexibility of the current CSA model. Our farm worked with Virginia State University and Virginia Tech to think up a better way to offer a convenient and reasonable CSA. We came up with the idea of "Customer Sensitive Agriculture."
