About Us

The Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce is more than a building and a name. It consists of people. Not just people, but good people, doing good things for others.

For more than 80 years, the Chamber has existed in Angelina County to improve the business climate in Lufkin and Angelina County. The Chamber and its hundreds of volunteers strive to serve the membership through the stimulation of economic growth and trade, the education of the public in the role and purpose of business, the support of activities which enhance the area's quality of life and by serving as a catalyst for positive change in the community.

The Chamber offers volunteers numerous avenues to contribute to the community. With more than 19 Chamber committees, and 11 affiliated organizations, the Chamber strives to complete the Program of Work set forth annually by its Board of Directors. The Chamber is a proactive group of volunteers who take the initiative to improve the community, the business climate and the quality of life.
