Our history as a former ship building center of the Great lakes has bestowed on us a rich maritime and architectural heritage still celebrated and enjoyed to this day. Our waterfront location has been preserved for public enjoyment through city land dedicated to riverside public access via many parks and a swimming beach. A Michigan Department of Natural Resources public boat access adds to this accessibility. These venues provide daily ring-side seats to the still bustling activity on our international river.
Marine City's historic downtown shopping district has been augmented over the years by commercial and light industrial venues to the west and south, creating a virtual circle of of business activity. A wide range of products and services are provided to both residents and visitors to our Marine City community.
