The mission of the Fair Lawn middle schools is to afford each student the opportunity to learn, to achieve success, and to become a confident and productive member of a global and technological society prepared to meet the challenges of the 21st Century.

Education in middle school must provide a supportive education that takes into account the significant physical, emotional, and social changes that students experience during these years.

We believe that middle school education should provide for the intellectual, aesthetic, physical, cultural, and social development of our students. The middle school should prepare students to become productive citizens who demonstrate self-discipline, responsibility, and respect for others.
